Cancellation / Reschedule Policy
All private lessons, drills, and classes require a non-refundable deposit. Deposits may be transferred once to a new date if cancellations are made within a 48+ hours notice. Cancellations inside the 48-hour window, no-shows, or failure to follow dress code or safety requirements will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Medical emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis with proper documentation.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, to avoid losing your deposit, you must contact Tame the Trigger Firearms Training at least 48 hours in advance by emailing tamethetriggertoday@gmail.com or calling 910-720-5869.
This window allows me to offer the slot to another student. All cancellation or reschedule requests must be made directly to me. Contacting the range does not count as notice, and any message left with the range will not be considered part of the 48-hour requirement.
IMPORTANT: Before Your Lesson
Please make sure you have watched the safety video and completed the safety waiver for the range where your lesson will take place. If you have not done so, please try to complete it before your session.

• The Range @ True North – Oxford: Must be signed at the range on the day of the instruction or upon request I can email it to you prior to your instruction.
• A Girl & A Gun: Range safety waivers signed on the Stack App or at the range the day of the lesson.
If you are bringing your own firearm, please bring it in during check-in. Firearms must be unloaded and secured inside a case and/or range bag. No loaded firearms are permitted in the training rooms.
Dress Code for ALL Ranges
• No open-toed shoes
• No high heels
• No tank tops
• No low-cut, see-through, or cropped shirts
If you arrive in clothing that does not meet the dress code, you will not be able to participate in your private instruction or class, and your payment will be forfeited.
Outdoor Range Instructions
If your lesson is scheduled at an outdoor range, please complete the required safety waiver for that location prior to your session.
Firearm Rentals:
Outdoor ranges do not offer firearm rentals for private lessons or classes. You must bring your own firearm. Please do not uncase your firearm until given instructions to do so by the instructor
Outdoor environments vary. Please dress appropriately for the forecast and terrain.
Recommended items depending on the season:
• Light layers, sunscreen, insect repellent (warm months)
• Warm layers and gloves that allow safe firearm operation (cool months)
Bring water or another form of hydration, as outdoor ranges typically do not have water available.
Your lesson will continue as scheduled unless severe weather creates unsafe shooting conditions. If a weather-related reschedule is necessary, you will be contacted by your instructor as soon as possible.
